"I wrote most of these songs shortly after the UK general election in 2016. These songs are my outlet for my anger at the Tory government, and the capitalist, neo-fascist hell that they've been creating in the UK since the start of their term in 2010. 7 years after these songs were written the lyrical content has only become even more relevant, which is a harrowing prospect. The violence this government exacts on queer people, people of colour, disabled people and the entire working class is reflected in the violence of this music, and the violence that we as a people need to use in order to end the Tories reign and to start working towards a fair and just society.

The first, and last album by POOR, a South West powerviolence band that could've been everything, but burned out before they could catch. 14 tracks of aggressively political, unrelenting hardcore in the vein of Punch and early Gouge Away, forced through the perspective of bands like Sex Prisoner and World Peace.
